Photography is my passion. I got my first “real” camera at the age of 12 and have been focused on creating great images ever since. Along the way I graduated from James Madison University with a BS Art (concentration in Photography) and have had many great adventures with cameras in hand (photographing sharks in the Bahamas, sun sets in the mountains, and many more come to mind).
Today I freelance as an independent photojournalist (see some of my work in the Photojournalism link above) and a portrait/headshot photographer. Although those areas of focus might seem very different both are all about capturing the human spirit and condition.
I am a professional member of the Nation Press Photographers Association (nppa.org) and when out in the field working as a photojournalist subscribe fully to their code of ethics which you can read here: https://nppa.org/resources/code-ethics.
Please email me at photography@vitter.com if you have any questions or you are interested in hiring me.
